Lesson Types 

Assessment Lesson
If it’s your first time with EXAMINER DRIVING SCHOOL, we will begin by analysing you're on road competence. Not all drivers are created equally and therefore we assess your strengths and weaknesses before moving onto the practice sessions. The time spent looking at your ability will enable a ​more structured approach to your experience, meaning less time practicing with us and more time spent enjoying your newfound driving freedom!

Structured Lessons
Our structured lesson is based on the purchase of our Professional Package. After your assessment, we will define your base skill level  - Class A, B or C. Then, we will design a tailored program to meet your needs & continue to tailor it as your continue to learn.

Assessment Lesson vs Structured Lesson
Note the lesson plan is 100% flexible based on your improvement levels. We will constantly review and update. The below plans are guidelines, if we believe your weak areas include changing lanes & reverse parking for example, we will focus effort here to make sure you have a rounded driving ability.

Lesson 1 – Car park & quiet backstreets to build confidence
Lesson 2 – Quiet residential areas to improve confidence
Lesson 3 – On road driving (secondary roads) left turns & kerb-side stops
Lesson 4 – On road driving (secondary roads) left & right turns, roundabouts
Lesson 5 – On road driving (main & secondary roads) left & right turns, change lanes
Lesson 6 – On road driving (main & secondary roads) left & right turns, roundabout
Lesson 7– On road driving (maneuvers) 3 point turn, hill starts, kerb-side stop 
Lesson 8 – On road driving (highway, main & secondary) change lanes, intersection
Lesson 9 – Review on road driving – left & right turns, reverse parking, intersection right turn 
Lesson 10 – Review & round up – 1 x each maneuver, conclude – any more lessons required?​
